The Angels of Assisi transport van will pick up animals at Cole Chevrolet's Service Department (at the foot of East River Mountain near the state line) in Bluefield, WV at 7:30AM. The transport will return at 7:30 PM that evening (unless informed otherwise the day of transport). We will have all animals loaded for the transport van to depart at 8AM and will not hold the van if you are late.
You must complete a surgical consent form for surgery to be performed on your pet. This form can be downloaded below or emailed to you.
Please be sure to remove any food from your pet by 9PM the night prior (no food the morning of transport), water does NOT have to be restricted.
Please be sure to walk your dog that morning to help keep their kennel clean during transport.
ALL cats must be in a carrier, we prefer one cat per carrier.
ALL FERAL cats must be in a live/humane trap.
Kindly give at least 24 hours notice if you are unable to keep your appointment, so that we may fill the transport with another animal in need. We have had a tremendous number of no shows on the last two transports and this jeopardizes our ability to continue to provide this service if the van is not full.
Please be sure your pet does not have food after 9PM the night prior to surgery, they can have water.
Please make sure to walk your dog prior to bringing for transport.
Your cat must be in a cat carrier, one cat per carrier, have their name (first and your last) and your phone number clearly marked on the carrier.
Feral cats MUST be brought in a LIVE trap for the safety of the veterinary team and for ease in observation while the cat is in recovery.
